The new Big Brother Mzansi season begins on 12^th January 2025.

In anticipation of what will be the biggest season, we have put together this piece to educate you all about how to support your favourite housemate with your votes.

Voting takes place on mobile site, website, and MyDStv app (subscribers only).

Voting on the app is open to active subscribers in selected countries with eligible rewards levels only.

To vote on the website, mobile site, and the app, register with your name, surname, year of birth, gender, location, and cell phone number before or during the voting round.

1. Website

Register to vote on the Mzansi Magic website.
Click on the vote menu item.
Click on register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, location and cellphone in the international format, e.g. +234731234567 and your preferred password.
You will receive an OTP (One Time Pin) via SMS.
Enter your OTP.
Once registered, you will vote.
Website votes are free. Data costs apply.

After registering to vote, use these steps to vote for your favourite housemate when the voting lines open.

On the Mzansi Magic website, click on the vote menu item.
Click on login and enter your cell phone number in the international format, e.g. +234731234567
Enter your chosen password.
Select your favourite housemate.
Enter your number of votes and cast your vote by clicking VOTE.
Votes on the website are limited to 100 votes per user.
Website votes are free. Data costs apply.

2. Mobile Site

If you would like to cast your votes through your mobile phones, here are the steps to take to register on the mobile site.

This is the first step to take to vote on the mobile site.

Register to vote on the Mzansi Magic mobile site.
Click on the Vote menu item.
Click on register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, location, and cellphone number in the international format, e.g. +234731234567 and your preferred password.
You will receive an OTP (One Time Pin) via SMS.
Enter your OTP.
Once registered, you will vote after the show.

When you are done with registering on the website, here are the steps to follow to cast your votes when voting lines open.

Select your favourite housemate.
Enter your number of votes and cast your vote by clicking VOTE.

3. MyDStv App

Subscribers with eligible rewards levels only can get additional votes with the app.

Additional votes are awarded based on your rewards level.
Download the MyDStv app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Log into the app by entering your email or mobile number and password.
Once you’ve logged into your app, look for the “Rewards” menu item on the bottom menu.
Select your available rewards and click on the Big Brother Mzansi card.
You must be an active subscriber on one of the eligible rewards levels to receive your additional votes.
Click on “Vote Now” and follow the instructions to cast your vote.

Only your vote determines who stays, who goes, and who becomes the winner of this season.
